Gaenor Loftus and Sam Nayar have created a very contemporary and stylish B&B in Llandudno, a seaside resort that once hosted Bismarck, Napoleon III and Disraeli. Gaenor was in the rag trade in Manchester while husband Sam was in bingo before they escaped to this Victorian villa on the seafront.

Most of the rooms have views of the town, beach and mountains and they offer plenty of indulgence inside too. One is a New York style loft apartment with mezzanine, another is Rococo with French bed, armoire and chandeliers, while the Retro bedroom is inspired by the 1970s. All have flat screen TVs, DVD, Playstations and Aveda toiletries. As Gaenor cheerfully admits "it's a departure from the normal stock of B&Bs in town".
