Why it’s special

Took a turn in the spotlight when the Lounge Bar was revealed as the meeting place of David Kelly and the journalist Andrew Gilligan which led to the WMD investigation. A very comfortable place for a Diet Coke and an Appletise.

Hitting the sack

Triple glazing keeps noise at bay. Rooms have pale wood furniture, reddish carpets and comfy beds. Spacious. And you can get the BBC.

Duck with noodles and hoisin sauce, lamb with café au lait jus or an aubergine, mozzarella and tomato gateau.
