Silverjet, the business-only airline which flies between Luton and Newark, is promoting its women-only toilets with a saucy new viral video on YouTube.
The video is a modern take on the Mile High Club concept.
Each of Silverjet’s 767 planes has five toilets, one of which is for women only which includes Aromatherapy Associates products.
When Silverjet’s new second daily flight starts in early July, the ladies loo gets a new design, which includes light bulbs around the mirror, an additional mirror so ladies can check their hair at the back and a groovy purple suede look.
Silverjet recently won the inaugural Conde Nast Traveller Innovation and Design Award for Aviation.

The reason the female-only loo has not raised cries of discrimination is twofold. First, no right-minded media person would ever allow a story about discrimination in that direction. Second, I don't know of any guy that would be offended by following a woman in the loo. Let them have their place.

No Men-Only toilets? Are we expected to bring our own "aromatherapy"? What about the Metrosexuals, who might not only be as clean (or cleaner) than the women, but might also look for such amenities in their travel carrier? Do transvestite passengers get to use the toilet of their choice? Doesn't Silverjet care about their modern male customers? My luck, I'd be seated right next to the womens' room. Wait, that might be good luck, after all. :)
I don't want to fly to Newark, anway. I'll stick to places Southwest flies. They're unlikely to pull such a dumb move.

Eqaulity should demand a male only loo. Thanks to plumbing differences men are able to use the loo in a fraction of the time that women can, or choose to. Anyone who has waited outside the toilet in agony on the approach after an overnight flight while a woman puts on makeup would support this.

Re: "sex discrimination"
Spoken like a man, who has never had to wait in the line for the women's restroom, which happens to be at least three times as long as a man's. In addition to "normal evacuation," women often have other things to deal with--periods and frequency urination during pregnancy.
It's not discrimination--it's just common sense; logic.

Clever ad. Silverjet just have panache!

And yet the female-only loo has not fallen foul of sex discrimination laws yet. How strange.
