Pop star Lily Allen last night laughed off photographs of her sunbathing topless.
Attending a party in Cannes to celebrate her friend Simon Pegg's new film How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, Allen was asked if she was bothered by the topless photographs and answered: "No, it's my body."
She joked: "I heard I was a Page Three girl today."
She said she was sticking with her newly blonde hair and asked if blondes had more fun, replied: "Yes they do."
Asked how to lose friends and alienate people, Allen replied: "Don't wear deodorant."
How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, starring Hot Fuzz star Simon Pegg, Kirsten Dunst and Gillian Anderson, is based on Toby Young's hilarious bestselling account of his short-lived career at Vanity Fair.
Young revealed that Pegg had put on around a stone in order to play the role, despite having just finished filming Run Fatboy Run.
Young said he was very pleased by the movie: "It is not always an ego boosting experience having a film made of what you've written. They've done a fantastic job.
"It's turned out incredibly well, far better than I could have hoped."
Speaking of his experience in Cannes, Pegg said: "I walked down the sea front today and I was amazed at the sheer volume of activity. It's crazy."
Other guests at the party included Mischa Barton, who wore a flowing gown. The O.C star is in Cannes to promote You and I, a film about two teenage girls who fall in love at a t.A.T.u concert.

oh and what a body
Brom, Bridgend,
'No, it's my body.'
Brilliant... Sort of... Sometimes I think that with all the fuss going on about nudity and the body, we've been more influenced by Tehran's attitudes toward modernity than we'd like to admit.
It's refreshing to hear an adult admit she has a body!
