As it's a holiday and you'll know doubt want to keep costs down, you might try the quirky, but extremely useful site called Attitude Travel (www.attitudetravel.com). It's a great resource on no frills airlines and lists all of the no frills carriers that fly from a particular city or country.

The biggest no frill carrier in Budapest is SkyEurope (www.skyeurope.com), which flies to dozens of cities, across Europe, and also to the UK. Good options for a beach break are Barcelona, Nice, Naples, Split, Dubrovnik, Athens, and on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, Bourgas and Varna. Return fares start at about £50. Alternatively Wizz (www.wizzair.com) flies from Budapest to Corfu until mid September.
